MinDigit launches the Trajectory program for entrepreneurial initiatives of veterans and families of servicemen
The Ministry of Digital Transformation has announced the start of a new season of the educational grant program Trajectory, aimed at supporting the entrepreneurial initiatives of veterans and families of servicemen.
Participants in the program will have the opportunity to undergo training modules in marketing, digitalization, and business basics, lasting two months. After completing the training, entrepreneurs will be able to receive funding to develop their businesses.
Veterans and family members of veterans and servicemen who were killed, captured, or missing can join the program. This may include spouses, parents, children, adopted children, brothers, and sisters.
'The second season of the educational grant program Trajectory will help veterans and families of servicemen gain the necessary knowledge to implement their own entrepreneurial ideas. Participants will learn to implement innovative digital technologies to scale their businesses, undergo intensive training, and receive mentorship support. According to research, 64% of veterans and servicemen plan to open their own business. Our goal is to help them in this and create conditions for the development of small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine,'said Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration Valeriia Ionan.
The program will include two training formats. The first is a joint lecture with online training, access to which will be granted to all registered participants. The second format is an intensive lecture that will be held offline at the Dii.Business entrepreneur support centers and a virtual bootcamp. In this format, 230 entrepreneurs will be selected to receive financial support.
Participants in the program will also be able to take part in the final event Grand Pitch Day, during which 10 participants with the highest scores can compete for the main additional prizes – 1 million hryvnias for 'Beginners in Business' and 2 million hryvnias for 'Experienced Entrepreneurs'. Additionally, 68 program winners will have the opportunity to attend up to three free individual meetings with project mentors.
As part of the training, entrepreneurs will be able to listen to lectures from more than 10 leading business development experts, as well as receive insights into the psychology of their own business.
