Canadians are expressing their protest against Donald Trump's policies by booing the American anthem, CNN reports.

Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, stated that Canadian residents will not be traveling to Florida, but instead will be buying Canadian goods and refusing popular American products such as bourbon. They will also continue to boo the American anthem in protest against US policies.

Trudeau believes that Trump's 25% tariffs on Canadian goods are a big mistake. He stated that Canada is introducing counter-tariff measures that will remain in effect until the US lifts its tariffs.

The imposition of 25% tariffs on American goods worth $155 billion is a response to the US President's decision. Canadians are actively refusing to buy American goods, specifically shifting to other marketplaces instead of Amazon. Due to the protest against Trump's policies, purchases of goods in the US have significantly decreased.
