From 19 to 70 thousand: what salaries are offered to military personnel and UBD in Ukraine.


According to the analytics of the OLX Work platform, the median salary of military personnel in Ukraine is 70,000 hryvnias over the year. The most job vacancies are available in the five largest regions of the country: Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kharkiv, and Lviv regions.
After signing a memorandum with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, OLX Work received many responses to military personnel job vacancies. Among the most popular professions are drivers, shooters, UAV operators, commanders, and medics.
It is noted that salaries of military personnel vary significantly depending on the profession. For example, instructors and accountants receive about 35-36 thousand hryvnias, which is almost twice less than the average salary in the army.
It should be noted that salaries of military personnel significantly differ depending on the profession.
Regarding salaries for individuals with UBD status, there is a significant regional difference.
The highest salaries are recorded in the western regions:
- Lviv - 22,600 hryvnias;
- Volyn - 22,500 hryvnias;
- Transcarpathia - 22,250 hryvnias.
In the northern regions, the offers are slightly lower:
- Chernihiv and Kyiv regions - 21,000 hryvnias each,
- Zhytomyr - 18,500 hryvnias,
- Rivne - 18,000 hryvnias.
The lowest salaries in central Ukraine: Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions offer 17,500 hryvnias each.
