Kyiv Digital has expanded the virtual fare payment service
Since the beginning of today, March 13, Kyiv Digital has announced the expansion of its virtual fare payment service. According to the press service of Kyiv City State Administration, this service is now also available on the Kyiv Ring Electric Train.
To use this service, you need to follow a few simple steps. First, you need to launch the Kyiv Digital mobile application, select the 'Fare Payment' service, and then scan the QR code found on posters or stickers in the carriage.
If you cannot scan the QR code, there is also an option to manually enter the number of the electric train Kyiv City Express in the 'Fare Payment' service. After that, you need to pay for the fare using a transport card, a one-time QR ticket, or a bank card. After successful payment, information about the fare will appear in the application.
It is worth noting that showing the record of paid fare in the application is sufficient for verifying travel documents, for example, with ground transport controllers.
You should also remember that the fine for traveling without a ticket in the capital is 160 hryvnias for ground transport and 300 hryvnias for the Kyiv Ring Electric Train.
Passengers have already been warned earlier about the specifics of fare payment in Kyiv.
