Plans for the Wedding Ceremony

Matt, who rose to fame in the 80s as a member of Bros alongside twin brother Luke and friend Craig Logan, shared the joyful news of his engagement after proposing to his fiancée Chantal Brown.

“We haven’t officially announced it yet, but we are engaged and looking forward to the wedding.”

He also attended the Barrus X Art De Huille fashion show at London Fashion Week at the Royal Horseguards Hotel and added for MailOnline:

“She makes me a better man.”

Chantal confirmed:

“True love is the secret to our relationship's success.”

The couple has already discussed plans for a grand celebration in London, and preparations for the ceremony are “already in full swing.”

Relationship with Brother

Chantal was previously married to Paul Nicholls, who played the role of Joe Wicks in EastEnders. Despite the positive news, Matt admitted that he still has a distant relationship with his brother Luke.

“I hope the next year will be the year when my brother and I can put our disagreements behind us, as he is the love of my life, my best friend, and I would like to bridge our gap.”

He also expressed hope that they would find a way to reconcile, as

“there are no good reasons for that not to happen.”

The Stalking Situation

Last year, Matt felt 'very emotional' when his stalker was arrested.

He recounted that the stalker, whom he did not name, had targeted him for a long time, and as a result, he shied away from social media.

Speaking about the situation for the first time, he shared:

“I have been dealing with a few issues. Someone has just been arrested.”

Matt, the author of hits like 'When Will I Be Famous' and 'I Owe You Nothing', acknowledged that the situation greatly affected him.

On the BBC podcast Rylan: How To Be In The Spotlight, he said:

“It was very emotional, to be honest. But it's mostly behind me now. I can't talk about the details, but someone was arrested.”
