Apricots are dropping their fruit - why and how to restore the harvest
If a fruit tree has started dropping its apricots, the soil may be poor and lacking in sufficient nutrients. Apricot trees do poorly in poor soils, as the fruits cannot properly mature, especially if there are many of them.
When the plants form fruit set, they require special attention. If the fruits are small and fall to the ground, it may be that the tree lacks calcium, which prevents the pit from developing, and consequently, the fruit itself.
To help the fruit tree set fruit again, it needs to be fertilized with calcium nitrate, chelated calcium, or a complex fertilizer.

In summer cottages, the problem of fruit drop in apricots often arises. Experienced gardeners explain that this may be caused by poor soil, which lacks nutrients for proper fruit growth. To restore the fruit set, the tree needs additional calcium nourishment.
