Adele May Perform at the Super Bowl in 2026
According to The Sun: Singer Adele is likely to join the Super Bowl 2026 halftime show, as reports have emerged about negotiations for her performance.
GettyTen years ago, Adele turned down the opportunity to perform at this major event.
According to Page Six, fans may finally see Adele in Santa Clara, California, next February.
In 2016, The Sun revealed that the singer declined a lucrative offer from the Super Bowl organizers. She said:
“I don't perform at the Super Bowl. Come on, this show is really not about music, and I don't dance or anything like that. But they were very kind and invited me, but I said no.”
Now, after a decade, new rumors have surfaced that she is 'in negotiations' for a performance, though she is not yet 'officially booked.'
Adele, a 16-time Grammy winner, previously attended the Super Bowl with her sports agent and fiancé Rich Paul.
Last year, she admitted she attended the game not for football:
“Last year I went, obviously not for the football. I went to see Rihanna.”
The Sun reached out to Adele's representatives for a comment.
Potential performers for next year also include Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, and rock bands Metallica and Green Day.
Adele Signed a Multi-Million Dollar Book Deal
The singer has signed a deal to write an autobiographical book where she will share her story for the first time.
According to The Sun, after several months of negotiations, Adele agreed to write a detailed autobiography about her journey to success.
Journalists have learned that discussions are ongoing regarding Adele's plans for a world tour next year and the potential release of new music.
Adele, who was born in 1988 in London, attended the BRIT School for Performing Arts before signing her first contract in 2006.
The singer has sold over 120 million records worldwide and has 11 hits in the Top 10, including three at number one: 'Someone Like You', 'Hello', and 'Easy On Me'.
A source revealed:
“Publishers have long sought to sign Adele to tell her story, but she has always declined. Finally, she is ready, and it will be Adele in her own words – beyond the headlines.”
Adele's last world tour concluded in early 2017 when she had to cancel her last two concerts at Wembley due to voice issues. The singer spoke about the challenges of touring life.
Before the start of that tour, she noted:
“I still want to make albums, but I would be fine if I never heard [the applause] again. I'm on tour just to see everyone who has supported me.”
However, Adele agreed to a record-breaking residency in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace.
