Tottenham Player Threatened with Gun: Agent Arrested.
Tottenham Defender Targeted with Gun Threat by Agent
According to inkorr.com: Football club 'Tottenham' has confirmed that their defender, Destiny Udogie, has become a victim of gun threats from his agent. The incident occurred on September sixth on the streets of Barnet, north London. Police received reports of a threat involving a firearm directed at 'a man approximately in his twenties'.
The 31-year-old agent was arrested on September eighth. He was interrogated on suspicion of blackmail and illegal possession of a firearm. Udogie, who joined 'Tottenham' in 2022, received support from the club after the incident and returned to the pitch just a week later.
Officers spoke with the victim, and during the investigation it was also reported that another man, around twenty years old, was allegedly blackmailed and threatened by the same individual.
Udogie became a victim of a crime due to a dispute with his agent; however, 'Tottenham' continues to support the player and his family throughout this legal matter.
The police are currently investigating this case, and the club is actively assisting the athlete and his loved ones in this difficult situation. Such threats indicate serious issues in the relationships between agents and their clients, which can significantly impact players' professional careers.
