Lviv Book Exchange Gathered Hundreds of People: What Books Residents Swapped.
Throughout the day, visitors had the opportunity to exchange books of various genres, listen to discussions about culture, art, and literature, enjoy musical performances, and watch films. There was a separate children's area with games and entertainment for the youngest participants.
On August 17, in Lviv, as part of the event 'Book Square', the third book exchange took place for the townspeople. Book lovers gathered in front of the main building of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv to swap books, participate in interesting discussions, and enjoy a cultural and entertainment program. There was also a separate area for children with games and entertainment.
The event lasted from 12:00 to 16:30, and then there was a concert by the band 'SHEPIT' and a screening of the documentary 'Witnesses. Captivity Kills'. The organizers also announced innovations in the operation of the book stalls, which opened in turn so that everyone could find books to their taste. The program included discussions dedicated to various aspects of literature, presentations by famous writers and literary scholars.
The book event was supported by the state institution 'Ukrainian Book Institute' and the Lviv City Council, which indicates the importance of cultural initiatives among the townspeople.
