Ukraine is covered by rain and fog: meteorologists gave a forecast for December 1.

According to ТСН: Today the weather in Ukraine will be overcast, with possible rain in places.

This is reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center. The wind will be predominantly east at a speed of 3-8 m/s.

“In most western regions and in Vinnytsia region, small rainfall will occur today, and in the Carpathians—wet snow. Elsewhere, no significant precipitation is expected. Fog is forecasted in the western and Zhytomyr regions,” the message reads.

Air temperature during the day will fluctuate within +3…8°C. In the southern part of the country, the temperature is expected to rise to +7…12°C.

In the Kyiv region and the capital, it will be cloudy today, with no significant precipitation predicted. The wind will be easterly at 3-8 m/s. The temperature in the region will be +3…8°C during the day, while in Kyiv, it is expected to be from +5 to +7°C.

Earlier, meteorologists noted that strong frosts are not expected in December. Throughout the first month of winter, abnormally warm weather will prevail in the regions, and a decrease in temperature may only be possible at the end of the month.

Thus, the weather in Ukraine today will not bring significant changes, although rain may occur in the west. Overall, despite the clouds and light precipitation, warmer weather is expected in the south, promising comfortable temperatures for December. Meteorologists reassure that serious frosts are not expected in the near future.
