Antytila's Bila Tserkva Concert Goes Acoustic After Equipment Burns Out.
Antytila's Bila Tserkva Performance
According to Novyny.live: During their nationwide 'Vdoma' (At Home) tour, the band Antytila performed in Bila Tserkva despite significant technical issues that arose before the show. This was the tour's second concert, but roughly ninety minutes before the start, a major equipment failure occurred. A power surge caused 12 out of 14 dB Technologies VIO speaker systems to burn out, severely complicating preparations.
Due to these technical problems, the concert concluded with an acoustic set after a second voltage spike. This Ukrainian band, known for its patriotic anthems during the war, adapted to the circumstances. The stripped-down performance fostered a uniquely intimate atmosphere between the artists and the audience. Stand-up comedian Slava Bu also took part, adding to the event's emotional depth.
“This was one of those concerts you remember forever. No soundcheck, no stage lights, no usual powerful sound—but with warmth and a feeling of complete connection between the audience in the hall and Antytila on stage. The equipment couldn't handle it, but Ukrainians can.”
Taras Topolia, leader of Antytila
Tour Finale
The tour will culminate with three shows at the Palace of Sports on March 20, 21, and 22. Thus, despite the technical difficulties, Antytila continues to delight its fans and plans to finish the tour on a high note.
The Bila Tserkva concert demonstrated the band's resilience and ability to adapt to unforeseen challenges. The technical problems did not prevent them from creating a unique atmosphere, underscoring the deep bond between the artists and their supporters. The upcoming finale at the Palace of Sports in March promises to be a bright culmination, further highlighting this tour's significance for the Ukrainian music scene. In this way, Antytila continues its mission of supporting and uniting people through music during difficult times.
