Argentina has released a coin featuring Maradona: details and successes of Ukraine.
According to inkorr.com: The Central Bank of Argentina has unveiled a new commemorative silver coin dedicated to the 2026 World Cup. The reverse side of the coin depicts the iconic moment when Diego Maradona scored his legendary goal against England during the 1986 World Cup, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
The obverse of the coin features an image of a football, symbolizing the passionate love of Argentinians for this sport. The coin is made of 925 silver, weighs 27 grams, and has a diameter of 40 mm. The mintage is 2500 units, and the nominal value is 10 dollars.
The 2026 World Cup will take place in the USA, Mexico, and Canada from June 11 to July 19. In connection with this, the Ukrainian national team achieved an important victory over Azerbaijan during the qualifiers for this championship, as well as defeating Iceland in their previous qualifying match.
