Injury of Mosquera: Arsenal has lost its third central defender in a month.
Injuries in Arsenal's defense
According to The Sun: Arsenal Football Club has once again found itself in a difficult situation in defense: Cristian Mosquera left the field due to injury during the match against Brentford at the Emirates Stadium. The Spanish central defender started the game alongside Piero Hincapie, but shortly before halftime, he unfortunately landed awkwardly after an aerial duel.
Head coach Mikel Arteta has already lost the ability to rely on his main defensive duo — William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes. After Mosquera's injury, he was replaced by Djurriën.
This situation puts Arsenal in a tough spot, as the team risks losing key players at a critical moment of the season. Very soon, the Gunners will face new challenges, and now the question of squad depth becomes even more relevant.
