Emergency power outages implemented in two regions.
In the Sumy and Poltava regions, electricity will be cut off due to emergency outages. This was reported by the regional energy company.
According to the instruction of NPC "Ukrenergo", from October 28 at 09:01 in a certain territory of the Poltava region, emergency outages will be conducted. The districts that will experience disruptions in the electricity supply: Myrhorod, Lubny, Lokhvytskyi, Hadyach, Hrebinky, Khorol, Orzhytskyi, Chornukhy, and Pyriatyn. The outage will be 25 MW.
Moreover, under the directive of NPC "Ukrenergo", emergency outages will also be conducted in the Sumy region. At 09:06, consumers in Konotop (5th queue) and Romny (1st, 2nd queues) districts will be disconnected.
The reason for the restrictions is military strikes on the country's energy infrastructure.
As of 8 AM on October 28, due to Russian aggression against Ukraine, more than 16 thousand electricity consumers were left without power in the Sumy region.
