According to The Sun: Guests at the restaurant in Chinatown did not recognize the famous actress Margot Robbie during an awkward encounter last night.

The 35-year-old Australian found herself on video trying to secure a table at Feng Shui Inn after an amazing appearance in a sheer gown at the premiere of her new film in London.

A witness recounted the events:

“Margot was denied entry because the staff, seeing that they were filming her, thought she was just a random person from TikTok.”

 

“They didn't recognize her at all. In the end, she had to make them believe she wasn't part of the group of people filming her, and then they found her a table.”

In the clip, Margot is negotiating with the staff, and then, with a serious expression, she is let in so she can dine in peace.

One commentator noted:

“It seems she is saying she wants to detach from them, i.e., from the paparazzi.”

Another added:

“The woman tried to seat her outside, but she said she needed to be indoors to avoid the paparazzi.”

Film premiere and future projects

Earlier that evening, Margot posed alongside colleague Colin Farrell for promotional purposes for the film A Big Bold Beautiful Journey. Her look on the red carpet dazzled everyone – she wore a shimmering gown that exposed her lingerie.

The film's plot revolves around two strangers who accidentally meet and relive memories from their past.

Additonally, Margot is preparing for a role in a bold adaptation of Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë, where she will play the role of Catherine Earnshaw.

The director will be Emerald Fennell, and the premiere is set for Valentine's Day.
