British racer got stuck in the bathroom before the race: how the team saved him.
Unpleasant incident at the races
According to The Sun: Young British racer Vinnie Ford revealed that he considered leaving the sport due to embarrassment after nearly missing a competition, getting stuck in the bathroom. The boy from Sussex accidentally found himself locked in the restroom while preparing for the race for his club 'Workington'.
This incident, known as 'Vindaloo', occurred during a home match against the 'Redcar' team in mid-July.
'It was a real nightmare! I never thought I could end up in such a situation,' he said.
Vinnie was very worried whether he would make it to the track on time, as race day was extremely important for the team.
This incident served as a lesson for the boy, and he promised himself to be more careful in the future.
It's important to note that similar situations, although they happen in the lives of many athletes, can significantly impact the psychological state of racers. Having overcome this episode, Vinnie Ford will be able to better prepare for future competitions, focusing on his team and professional goals.
