According to The Sun: FC Barcelona has raised alarms over a potential tuberculosis outbreak at their legendary Nou Camp stadium. This came after a positive test for the disease was confirmed in one of the workers.
Following the diagnosis confirmation of a team member working on the stadium's reconstruction, an investigation has been launched. The Barcelona Public Health Agency (ASPB) is already actively dealing with the matter, having completed contact tracing with the confirmed case.
“We take the health of our workers seriously and are taking all necessary measures to ensure safety,”
stated club representatives.
In light of this, the club is conducting additional checks and implementing measures to prevent further spread of the disease. They are providing medical monitoring for those who may have come into contact with the infected worker.
