Conflict Between BBC and Ozzy Osbourne's Family

According to The Sun: In August, BBC faced criticism for announcing the quick release of a documentary about Ozzy Osbourne titled Coming Home, which tells about his final years.

Ozzy's family noted that the film's release seems rushed as Paramount+ intended a more cautious approach for its show Ozzy: No Escape From Now.

BBC decided to take their time with the film's release.

Today, Paramount+ announced that their documentary Ozzy: No Escape From Now will premiere on October 7, as planned.

In response, BBC stated that Coming Home will be released five days earlier – on October 2 at 21:00.

Sources say: “It's a return to the fight over who can release their documentary first, which does not sit well with the Osbourne family.”

“The tension between both teams working on these shows is very high, and everyone hopes this does not lead to serious discontent from Ozzy's loved ones.”

“We hope that the fact both films are set to premiere nearly a week apart makes this week a big event on television in honor of the rocker's life.”

Ozzy Osbourne, who was 76, passed away on July 22 of this year from a heart attack after years of battling Parkinson's disease.

“The Prince of Darkness” recently wrapped up his farewell tour Back To The Beginning, which brought in nearly $200 million.

All proceeds from this event were donated to three charities – Brigham's Children's Hospital, Acorn Hospice, and Cure Parkinsons.
