Sydnie Christmas Returns to the Studio

According to The Sun: Britain's Got Talent winner, Sydnie Christmas, has officially announced that she is working on a new album. Last year, she released a cover album called 'My Way', and now she is focusing on creating original songs.

In a conversation with Jack in Bizarre, Sydnie shared:

“This is so exciting. I never thought I would have an album of original songs. I have been writing since I was a child and never imagined it would see the light of day. Now that I’m an adult, I get to write and find my style. People see me and think: 'She’s a theatrical singer’, but that’s not all I do.”

The first person she plans to share her new music with is BGT judge Amanda Holden. Sydnie noted:

“All it takes is to message her, and she replies. I have a demo of a song I want to send her. I would never say: 'Promote this for me', but I would ask for her opinion on the music.”

New Show in London

She recently concluded a successful run playing Cruella de Vil in the musical '101 Dalmatians' in London, but Sydnie has no time to rest. Next week, she will perform at a special show in London’s West End — Adelphi Theatre on September 9.

Discussing the show, Sydnie commented:

“I’m so excited. We’re actually filming a show for PBS in America and it’s fantastic. It’s definitely better than my previous show. I will be debuting several new songs that people have not yet heard.”

Sydnie is also planning the staging of her performances:

“I try to be clever when choosing which songs to perform. The thought of 'where I want to be in the future' gives me ideas for medleys that I can perform. I already have all my sparkly costumes ready.”
