Biffy Clyro release their anniversary album Futique: what it's about

According to The Sun: The band Biffy Clyro celebrates an important event - the release of their tenth album titled Futique. Singer Simon Neil can't believe this has happened.

“Right. So, album number ten... how did this happen?”

At the first meeting at the label's headquarters, I was warmly greeted with laughter, as the band is indeed in a good mood. Simon and the twins - bassist James and drummer Ben - create a friendly atmosphere, although their appearance can be impressive due to tattoos and energetic riffs.

If anyone doubts the popularity of the band from Kilmarnock, just remember their performance at Glastonbury before The 1975 - this set exceeded even what the headliners played.

“It was the most fun Glastonbury we ever played,” says Simon.

The first track from the album Futique - A Little Love, negatively affected the performance at Worthy Farm.

Simon explains: “Having been off stage for a while, we wanted to come back with something new.”

“Glastonbury made us realize that our songs had been in people's lives for a long time,” adds Simon.

The band reveals that on the way to the new album, they faced many difficulties, including personal issues - Simon struggles with anxiety and depression, while Ben has had issues with alcohol.

“We were really overwhelmed, and our minds were confused, so I went away and screamed for a few years,” says Simon.

And the emotional song Goodbye is one of many impressive compositions from Futique, which encourages hugging loved ones.

“This is a record about hugging your loved ones,” the band says.

The album Futique was released today.
