Bloomberg learned how the West reacted to Zelensky's Victory Plan and Ukraine's NATO membership.
Several NATO member countries supported the plan proposed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This was reported by Bloomberg on October 18. Some of Ukraine's allies supported the country's quick accession to NATO to use it as leverage against the Kremlin. However, there are disagreements among countries within the alliance. After the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Ukraine received support from its allies. During his visit to Berlin, US President Joe Biden called for continued support for Ukraine until it secures a just and sustainable peace. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz opposes Ukraine's quick accession to NATO and the supply of long-range missiles to it. NATO defense ministers were more open to discussing the invitation of Ukraine to the alliance. It is also known that France supports Ukraine's accession to NATO.
