Foreign Affairs: Ukraine can achieve a 'Korean scenario' in the war with Russia.

Ukraine is preparing for a possible ceasefire with Russia. Expert Michael Carpenter believes that Kyiv has already gained an important victory in the conflict with Moscow. Even with potential territorial losses, Ukrainians can negotiate from a position of strength with the support of other countries.

According to the expert, Russia has already lost the strategic war against Ukraine. The Ukrainian people are forever lost to it. Even with all its attempts to persuade Ukrainians to join it, it will not be able to do so.

According to Carpenter, if the situation becomes too difficult for Russia, it may find itself forced to conclude a ceasefire, which may resemble what ultimately ended the Korean War.

The expert believes that the Ukrainian side has an advantage in this conflict and can achieve its goals through negotiations and diplomacy with the support of the international community.
