According to The Sun: Bobbie Brazier has commented for the first time on the news that his younger brother Freddie is to become a father. The 22-year-old EastEnders actor hopes this will help resolve family conflicts.

He revealed that their father Jeff, 46, told him that 20-year-old Freddie is expecting a child with his ex-girlfriend. This will be the first granddaughter of the late reality star Jade Goody.

Bobbie noted:

“My dad told me the news about Freddie. At first, I didn’t know what to think. I can’t wait to be an uncle - a ‘fan uncle’.

These talks came after The Sun on Sunday reported that TV host Jeff has a court hearing regarding a restraining order preventing Freddie from seeing his maternal grandmother Jackie Badden, 68, due to concerns about his welfare.

Bobbie Brazier's plans

At the National Television Awards, Bobbie confirmed he plans to visit India to study the Hare Krishna religion after leaving his role on the show.

He clarified:

“I’m not moving to India. I’m going for a month to see the holy places and holy people.”

Bobbie added:

“My nature is to get into situations like this. Meditation is as important to me as my career in show business.”

“It’s not just one or the other. Hare Krishna really helps me. We have a great time together.”

“They are some of my best friends. Those were some of the best moments of my life.”

Bobbie embraced this religion, which is a form of Hinduism, after the death of his mother Jade Goody in 2009, when he was just five years old.
