According to The Sun: Cardi B shared her experience about how her career affected her personal life, including depression and issues in her marriage with rapper Offset.

She noted: “Last year I planned to release an album, but I couldn't focus.”

The singer went through tough times: “I fell into deep depression. I couldn’t function. I couldn’t eat, sleep, I couldn’t do anything.”

“There was a lot of pressure from my career. I felt like my marriage… the love was running out.”

She also added that it is hard for artists to stay relevant: “It’s a challenge – to stay here. It’s a challenge – to maintain your mental health. Every day is a challenge.”

Despite the difficulties, Cardi B noted: “I started to feel really good. I had bad days and good days because I feel like I’m rebooting my life.”
