“Famous fraudsters have turned Instagram into their personal marketplace, roaming in search of free dinners, vacations, cakes, and even alcohol, all for a few likes,” says PR expert Lynn Kearat.
“There is also a 'cake affair', where Catherine Tyldesley reportedly attempted to get cupcakes and a cake for free, just in exchange for 'social media acknowledgment'.”
“Meanwhile, Katie Price allegedly receives all her plastic surgeries, while Mark and Michelle Keegan enjoy home gifts.”
“In their place, I would also be asking for free items, but brands are evidently becoming more cautious in handing out gifts to celebrities in exchange for posts on social media.”

The couple has a separate Instagram account, Wrighty Home, which boasts over 665,000 followers dedicated to showcasing new improvements in their home.
Mark, married to Michelle since 2015, does not hide that he seeks help for his projects, even inviting companies to get in touch with him in some posts.
“Any company with glass can make something custom, please let me know. Message us. Thank you,” he wrote in one of his posts.
Mark filled his dining room with items gifted by PR agencies, noting on Instagram: “All the furniture in this room is from @olivias.uk, from tables and chairs, art to the main light fixture, lamps, and bedside table too.”
Mark showcased a new bathtub, including a photo of the toilet.InstagramHe has also boasted about products from gardening companies, showcasing his 'green fingers', and even shared a post about his robotic lawn mower, boosting his followers' envy level.
The time saved from mowing the lawn is undoubtedly spent on acquiring gifts for the home.
The reality star noted the stair designer, demonstrating his 'impressive' stairs, and was 'very happy' with a beautiful bathroom tile from @tilegiantofficial.
For the latest gym improvement, Mark mentioned a company that dealt with panels. Although some of these posts can be seen as advertising, his home Instagram account generates significant income.
He even treated his workers to free food from McDonald's in January 2022.

While some defended the star, arguing that it’s her job.
“It’s called a PR trip. This is her job, she has over 1.5 million followers, she can promote this. That’s how she makes a living.”
