Ukraine's shooting team won a medal at the World Championship: details of the success.
According to inkorr.com: The Ukraine shooting team started at the World Championship, which is taking place in Cairo, Egypt. On the very first day of the competition, the team won a bronze medal in the men's team event, competing in the free pistol shooting at 50 meters.
The Ukrainian team consisting of Viktor Banykin, Pavlo Korostyliov, and Oleg Omelchuk demonstrated a high level of skill and competition for medals.
In the individual event, Pavlo Korostyliov placed fifth, showing impressive results. The shooting competition at 50 meters will continue until November 17.
Ukraine's performance at the European Youth Olympic Festival
At the European Youth Olympic Festival, Ukraine took 10th place in the overall medal standings. Our athletes won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals, making this performance the second most successful in Ukraine's history at the festivals.
Among the sports in which Ukrainians won awards were judo, swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, artistic gymnastics, and table tennis.
Overall, the Ukraine shooting team had a successful start at the World Championship in Cairo, winning a bronze medal in the team events. Additionally, at the European Youth Olympic Festival, Ukrainian athletes showed excellent results, winning a significant number of awards, making this performance one of the most successful in the country's history at such events.
