Kirk appears in the documentary In Whose Name? after he was shot during a speech at the end of an event in Utah on September 10.
The documentary, directed by young filmmaker Nico Ballesteros, highlights six years of West's career filled with controversial moments.
Amid a decline in popularity, West met with Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, and Owens, who was then the director of communications.
Kirk appears briefly while Owens and West passionately discuss the experiences of Black public figures.
The film In Whose Name? was released on September 19, just nine days after Kirk's murder.
Ballesteros noted in an interview: "It's sad, and may they rest in peace, but there are people in the film who are no longer with us."
A minor, Tyler Robinson, has been charged with Kirk's murder, for which he could face the death penalty.
It is believed that the murder was a politically motivated crime.
West's concerns
In his letter to Trump in the White House in 2018, West expressed concerns about political violence.
During the film, he stated that he was not ready to risk his life, having worn the "Make America Great Again" hat.
"I will not go out," he told Kushner over the phone.
"I risked my life wearing this hat, and I want to be loved and respected."
"If I'm killed because of this hat in front of the White House, you won't win any elections."
Charlie Kirk's journey in the MAGA youth movement
Charlie Kirk transformed conservative youth activism from a marginal activity into a powerful force before his murder at the age of 31.
Kirk was an American conservative political activist, author, and media personality, known as the co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA).
He founded this organization in 2012 when he was only 18 years old, with the goal of promoting conservative principles among high school and college students.
The Rise of Turning Point USA
The mission of Turning Point USA was to counter what Kirk and his allies viewed as liberal dominance on American college campuses.
The organization quickly gained popularity through provocative activities and viral social media campaigns.
Creating lists of professors who promoted leftist propaganda and organizing debates on controversial topics, they garnered significant support from conservative donors.
Kirk's ability to engage with a new generation of conservatives became one of his most significant achievements.
He developed a style of political activism, focusing attention on social media, podcasts, and confrontational public speaking.
His events, such as the annual Student Action Summit, attracted thousands of young people.
A key ally of Donald Trump
Kirk also became a significant ally of President Donald Trump.
He was the youngest speaker at the Republican National Convention in 2016...
At this time, West seems to regret his activity in politics.
He was also shown in a moment of controversy with then-wife Kim Kardashian before their divorce in 2022.
Ultimately, he decided to step away from politics and focus on creativity, as it was creating "too much noise" for his family.
Shortly after this, West announced his presidential campaign.
In Whose Name? was presented in selected theaters on Friday.

Interest in the film may reflect how viewers seek to rethink the current political situation and the influence of figures like Kirk and West on recent events in the country.
The documentary In Whose Name?, which explores this theme, has every chance of becoming a significant contribution to discussions about politics, culture, and their interaction in the modern world.
