He also noted that talking about his intimate relationships with men is a huge burden lifted off his shoulders.

“Liberating. It’s really liberating… just to talk about it. It wasn’t like someone was crawling out of the restaurant, or that a piano fell from the sky,” Charlie commented.

Struggles with Addiction

The actor does not shy away from the topic of his addictions, admitting that his sexual relationships with women began during his crack use.

“This is what started it all,” he shared. “That’s where it all began, or the spark. When I tried to understand it, I asked myself: ‘Where did this come from? Why did it happen?’ – and ultimately just said: ‘So what? Some of it was weird, but a lot of it was really fun, and life goes on.'

Charlie also admitted that he was a sexual addict and became a victim of blackmail by his sexual partners at the height of his addiction.

Initially, his addictions did not attract much attention, but later he became the subject of media interest due to their consequences. He learned about his HIV status in 2015, which he publicly revealed.

“I know for sure that I never passed it on,” he assured.

Now, having been sober for 8 years, Charlie is trying to rebuild his life, opening up new details about his past days.

At the same time, he does not consider himself a victim, although he regrets his strange media interviews, particularly those in which he claimed to have “tiger blood”.

A New Charlie

Today, taking control of his life, Charlie enjoys the status of being single and is open to new relationships, although he does not plan to marry again.

Denise Richards, his ex-wife, supports his changes – they recently met on the red carpet during the premiere of the documentary film.

Charlie and Denise have two daughters — Sam, 21, and Lola, 20, as well as twins Bob and Max, 16, from Brooke Mueller.

Charlie’s autobiography is scheduled to be released on September 9, and his Netflix franchise will be available for streaming from September 10.

Getty Charlie Sheen openly shares his experiences not only about past sexual relationships but also about the difficult moments in life, including his struggle with addiction. His autobiography and documentary may serve not only as a personal reflection but also as an inspiring example for those on a similar path. Importantly, they are being released at a time of change when self-acceptance and openness are becoming increasingly relevant.
