Charlotte Crosby reveals new parenting rule and says: 'I feel so rude' as she apologizes to fans.
Charlotte Crosby sets new boundaries to protect her kids
According to The Sun: Charlotte Crosby, star of 'Geordie Shore', talked about new boundaries she has to set and apologized to her fans.
The 35-year-old mother of two daughters, Alba and Pixie, shared an honest message in Instagram Stories.
She explained to her fans that she cannot interact with them when she is with her children.
Charlotte admitted that while the safety of her children is her top priority, she often feels 'rude' declining people for a selfie.
The starlet started positively, saying:
“I am very grateful for everyone who supports me and takes the time to say hello. That really means a lot to me. However, during this holiday with the girls, I have thought about moments when I felt uncomfortable, for example, when I am alone with the children.”
She added:
“As a parent, their safety and well-being always come first. When I am with them, I cannot walk away or leave them unattended to take a picture.”
Charlotte and her fiancé Jake Ankers recently traveled to Spain with their two young children.
She recalled:
“This summer, there were moments when it was just the three of us out and people asked for photos. I always feel incredibly rude when I decline.”
Charlotte appealed to her fans:
“I hope you understand that when I am alone with the girls, I cannot safely be distracted from them.”
She thanked her followers for understanding her boundaries and noted that other mothers might agree.
This happened after Jake responded to a message from a superfan who had come to their old home hoping to get a photo with Charlotte.
The couple decided to leave the house after a terrible burglary last year while Charlotte was at home during the last months of her pregnancy.
Jake shared the message from a fan in Birmingham who hoped to get a photo with Charlotte and said:
“I rang the doorbell to try, but I didn’t get a response, so I apologize if you see a strange man on the camera.”
Jake replied:
“One of the reasons we moved! After everything that happened last year with the burglary, we don't need people coming to our house. I want you to understand that Charlotte has many fans, and people like her, but just coming to someone's house when there are two little children is not normal!!”Alamy
