The occupiers are trying to advance in the Kharkiv region, specifically to take Kharkiv under fire control. Ukrainian military is preparing for an escalation in this sector of the front in the near future. This was reported by the commander of the strike UAV battalion "Achilles" Yuri Fedorenko.

According to him, the occupiers may become more active in the area of the village of Liptsi, where "Kadyrovtsy" have already arrived, who will force the Russians to carry out combat missions.

It is noted that Moscow intends to bring its troops closer to Kharkiv and take specific areas of the city under fire control. Also, an important goal for Russia is the city of Vovchansk, which the occupiers want to fully occupy in order to have a bridgehead for advancing troops towards the Kupiansk direction.

Fedorenko emphasized that the city of Vovchansk is mostly under the control of Ukrainian forces, but Russian troops are unable to concede. If the enemies manage to advance in this direction, they will have the opportunity to plan further actions regarding the crossing of the Oskil River and the occupation of right-bank Kupiansk, which has an important strategic height.

Previously, another military named the occupiers' goal in the Kharkiv region.

As a result of the operation by GUR units, the military completely liberated the territory of the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant from the occupiers. It was also reported the enemy was destroyed in all buildings of the plant. The operation was carried out by special GUR groups - "Stugna", "Paragon", "Junger", BDK, and "Terror". The head of GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, received a report on the successful completion of the operation from the commander of the special unit of GUR Timur.

The commander of the "Stugna" unit, Dmytro (with the pseudonym "Linux"), also stated that the liberation of the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant narrowed the control zone of the enemy and improved the AFU's logistics.

Representative of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Chernyak reported that during the operation it was discovered that the leaders of the Russian occupiers understood the hopelessness of regaining control over the plant but still forced their soldiers to resist.
