Veteran Serhiy Kopyshchyk, who lost both legs during the war, expressed his opinion that if there are not enough volunteers in Ukraine, then compulsory mobilization should be introduced. He is convinced that there is no other way out. Kopyshchyk commented on the recent raid of the Red Cross Society at a concert of the Okean Elzy band, noting that some people can afford to attend concerts, while more and more helpless soldiers are on the front lines. He emphasized that those who avoid mobilization do not realize the consequences awaiting them when Russia attacks Ukraine. The veteran stressed the importance of motivation and referred to the example of the Okhmatdyt hospital. Kopyshchyk added that after being discharged from the military, he also returned to work, but in a position that requires less physical strain. He appealed to the authorities to pay attention to the problems of veterans. Earlier, veteran Syamoroz complained about the difficulties of passing medical commissions and bureaucratic obstacles in obtaining prosthetics and recognizing him as disabled.
