New York DJ Kozlow Launches Label: How to Create an Underground Culture.
Brooklyn Artist Kozlow Blurs the Lines Between Art and Music
According to The Sun: Brodcasting its art and dance culture successfully, Brooklyn artist Kozlow combines art, curation, and dance culture in New York. The former classically trained electric violinist has transformed his brand ANTHR FCKNG PARTY (AFP) from a one-month event into one of the most talked-about underground cultural phenomena in the city, and now into a label that promotes its ideas on a global scale.
SuppliedKozlow has performed alongside legends like Carl Cox at Burning Man, Cedric Gervais, and Alesso, showcasing his signature electric violin playing. He's also provided music for Kevin Hart's party and supported artists like Diplo and John Summit.
Known for his AFP policy that prohibits announced lineups and the use of mobile phones, Kozlow has created a movement based on genuine energy, spontaneity, and connections.
This very spirit is present in his debut release on the AFP label – 'Untitled,' a stripped-back techno track designed for nightclubs.
To celebrate the release of the new single and label, Kozlow gathered ten tracks that reflect the spirit of AFP, including both classic underground pieces and new finds that fill his dance floors.
