Allen recalled that during preparation for the fight he ate only one meal a day—fried fish with French fries and beer. This affected his physical condition, and he admitted that during the fight he felt completely exhausted.
After his loss to Price, which could have ended his career, Allen felt bored due to the lack of opportunity to return to the ring. In November 2020, he decided to leave boxing, but the following year he returned, having a few fights.
Unforeseen Difficulties
Recently, Allen lost to Olympic silver medalist Fraser Clarke in September 2023 and faced difficulties finding new fights. He even spent his own money to travel to shows, and his career was on the edge.

Her plea to find a job became more frequent, as they already had two children and financial difficulties. But Allen decided to give boxing one more chance, spending £2000 to continue his career.
Big Fight Ahead
Eventually, Allen received an invitation for a desired fight with Johnny Fisher in Saudi Arabia, where, despite a controversial loss, he managed to avenge and knockout Fisher in five rounds.
After that, he celebrated buying a new house for his family.
Now Allen is again preparing for an important fight against 6-foot-6-inch Mukhamadiev, one of the most dangerous boxers today. He dreams of a possible fight against Deontay Wilder in the future.
