In the upcoming weekend on August 16 and 17, the weather in Ukraine will be warm and sunny, influenced by the anticyclone. However, in some regions the temperature may slightly decrease. This was reported by the forecaster Natalka Didenko.

On Saturday, August 16, temperatures in Ukraine are expected to be +25...+29 °C, and in the south and Transcarpathia, it may reach +30...+32 °C.

On Sunday, August 17, it will be a bit cooler in the west and north of the country, +22...+26 °C. This is due to an atmospheric front that will bring some rain. However, in the south, east, and most central regions, it will be hot again — +30...+35 °C, with no precipitation and clear skies.

What the weather will be like in Ukraine on August 18

On Monday, August 18, only in the south and southeast will the heat persist, +30...+35 °C, while the rest of the territory will see temperatures of +20...+24 °C.

Weather forecast in Kyiv for the weekend of August 16 and 17

In Kyiv on August 16-17, sunny weather with temperatures of +25...+27 °C is expected, but from Monday, August 18, it will get cooler — around +22 °C.

It should be noted that today, August 15, Ukraine is under the influence of the anticyclone Julia. Earlier, climatologist Svitlana Krakovska spoke about how the climate in Ukraine will change over the decades and where a barren desert may arise.

In the upcoming weekend, warm and sunny weather is anticipated in Ukraine, although a slight temperature decrease is possible in some regions. Meteorologists advise preparing for heat in the south and east of the country, where temperatures may reach +30...+35 °C, while it will be slightly cooler with little rain in the west and north. In Kyiv, the weather will be sunny and warm over the weekend, but a temperature drop is expected from Monday.
