Troubles for Sir Alex Ferguson
According to The Sun: Sir Alex Ferguson has had a rough start to the racing season. Paul Nicholls reported that his Festival winner at Cheltenham will miss the year. The Manchester United legend celebrated victory in a special pavilion last spring when his horse Caldwell Potter, purchased for a record £630,000, won the Grade 2 handicap.
“He won't be able to compete this year, it's a huge loss for our team,” Nicholls said.
This news is a serious blow for Ferguson and his team, as Caldwell Potter had been showing excellent results and was expected to succeed in the new season. In such situations, it is hardest to adapt to new conditions and find a worthy replacement for the team's leader.
