Get your jackets: in which regions of Ukraine it will suddenly get colder over the weekend of September 14-15.

Ukrainians will receive a diverse weather kaleidoscope in the last weekend of summer 2024. Most regions of the country will have warm weather, but the western regions are expected to have cool rains and thunderstorms.

According to the forecast from Sinoptik.ua, Saturday, September 14, will start with summer warmth. The south, east, and southeast of the country will experience temperatures up to 30 degrees. In the central and northern regions, it will be comfortable at 28 degrees. However, in the west of the country, it will be cool, not more than 18 degrees, and in Zakarpattia even +15.

Only the eastern regions, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions will remain without rain. The rest of Ukraine can expect short-term rains with thunderstorms, and the western regions should be ready for serious precipitation.

Sunday, September 15, will also continue to please most Ukrainians with warmth. Mykolaiv, Kherson, and eastern regions will warm up to 30 degrees. In the central regions and the north, it will be comfortable at 28 degrees. However, in Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Odesa, and central regions, the temperature will drop to 22 degrees, and in the west of the country, it will become even cooler - not higher than 20 degrees.

Monday, September 16, will bring variable cloudiness to most regions. Short-term rains are expected only in the west and in Odesa. The coldest weather will be in Zakarpattia and Ivano-Frankivsk - only 13-16 degrees warm. The rest of the regions will enjoy a comfortable autumn temperature from 23 to 27 degrees.

According to folk omens, rains on September 14 indicate a rainy autumn, and sunny weather promises warmth until mid-December. Spider webs in the air and on trees are considered a sign of a warm and prolonged autumn. Morning dew on September 15 can indicate a wonderful and warm autumn, but rain on this day may be a precursor to a frosty winter.
