A mini-city is planned to be built in Great Britain for the filming of the 'Harry Potter' series

A mini-city is to be constructed at the 'Leavesden' studio in Hertfordshire, which will cost 1 billion pounds. As reported by 'Glavkom', this was announced by Metro.co.uk.

This town is planned to include a Yew Street, roads, parking lots, a school for young actors, a medical center, facilities for animals, and other necessary structures for the filming crew.

'At the school for young actors, they will continue their education, combining filming duties with learning,' the publication writes.

This city will become a 'small metropolis', serving as a backdrop for the show and providing all necessary conditions for actors and the filming crew. Additionally, it is planned to build roads, warehouses for storing decorations and props.

One of the buildings, known to fans of the 'Harry Potter' films, the home of Vernon and Petunia Dursley, will have a pseudo-Tudor appearance. The premiere of the 'Harry Potter' series on HBO is scheduled for 2026, and Warner Bros. is actively investing in new projects.

It is also worth noting that one of the actors from the 'Harry Potter' films, Harry Melling, will play a role in the film of Russian director 'Preserves from Butterflies'.
