Prices for pork in Ukraine have changed after the New Year holidays. According to the Minfin portal, the cost of some types of pork has already started to rise.
As of January 9, the prices for pork were distributed as follows:
- Pork belly slightly increased in price from 176.71 to 178.60 UAH/kg.
- The price for the shoulder significantly increased from 182.99 to 194.00 UAH/kg.
- The price for the neck decreased from 274.60 to 263.05 UAH/kg.
- The price for the pork loin slightly increased from 179.41 to 181.50 UAH/kg.
- The cost of pork ribs remained unchanged at 176.30 UAH/kg.
- The price for shashlik decreased slightly from 261.07 to 257.74 UAH/kg.
At the same time, consumer inflation in Ukraine reached 11.2% in November 2024, exceeding the forecasts of the National Bank. It is also noted that prices for basic products have also changed.
Experts predict that in the first half of 2025, prices for products may increase by 10-20% due to rising gas transportation tariffs.
In addition, dairy products have also become more expensive, and fruit prices rose by 20.8% compared to December 2024.
