Before and After. The new inauguration portrait of Trump has alarmed the network.
On the night of January 16, a new inauguration portrait of Donald Trump appeared in the USA, published a few days before the start of his second presidential term. However, this portrait is significantly different from the previous one.
In the 2016 portrait, Trump was smiling and cheerful. But in the 2024 portrait, after losing the 2020 election and considering the challenges ahead of him, he looks serious and unsmiling.
Several media outlets have already called this a 'difficult period'.
Online users began to compare these portraits of Trump to characters from movies, as such a difference has been noticed more than once.
For instance, Trump was compared to an actor from the popular series 'Squid Game'. The main character, Seong Gi-hun, participated in this game in the first season, and when he had the chance to play again, he already knew what to expect and did not smile in the photo.
Other users noticed a resemblance to the character Hank from the series 'Breaking Bad'.
It’s worth noting that US President Joe Biden delivered a farewell speech, summarizing his presidency and warning about threats to his country and democracy. His address was broadcast on the White House's YouTube channel.
Biden delivered the farewell speech in the Oval Office, preparing for the end of his presidential term next week. In his brief speech, the US president mentioned Ukraine in the context of foreign policy achievements and how he 'strengthened NATO'.
