From December 13, Ukraine is expecting a drop in temperature and frosts: forecasters provided a forecast

According to ТСН: Despite a slight drop in temperature, which is typical for the winter season, no serious frosts are expected in Ukraine in the near future.

This was reported by forecaster Natalkа Didenko.

Forecast for the coming days

From December 13, a slight drop in temperature is expected in Ukraine: daytime temperatures will fluctuate from +3 to -2 degrees. In the east, night frosts of up to -7 degrees may occur. Rain and gusty winds will accompany the weather across the country.

On December 11, relatively warm weather will prevail in Ukraine: daytime temperatures will be +3…+8 degrees, in the west - up to +11.

In the east and northeast, temperatures will be only +1…+3 degrees. At night, thermometers will show -1…-5 degrees, and in the east, locally up to -7.

Weather conditions in Kyiv

In Kyiv, rains may occur on Thursday, and winds from the southwest may be strong. Daytime temperatures will rise to +8 degrees.

From the middle of the week, a more noticeable drop in temperature is expected, although without sharp frosts. Daytime temperatures will drop to +3…-2 degrees, and at night - to -1…-5, in the east - to -7 degrees. Western regions will remain the warmest, with temperatures above zero.

A slight drop in temperature is characteristic of the winter period, and no serious weather phenomena are forecasted. However, Ukrainians are advised to be prepared for a humid and cool day, especially in the eastern part of the country.

The first snow in Ukraine

It is worth noting that on December 10, a number of Ukrainian cities met the first snow of this season. Residents of Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Konotop in Sumy region recorded snow-covered streets and roads, posting videos and photos on social media. Wet snow began falling on the evening of December 9.

Therefore, given the weather fluctuations, Ukrainians should be prepared for winter conditions, which have already brought the first snow to several cities. These changes in nature will become part of future winter landscapes and will also affect people's plans, which must take weather conditions into account when going outside and during trips. It is important to stay informed about changes in the weather to be ready for possible challenges that winter may bring.
