According to The Sun: Ed Sheeran has announced that he wants to move to the USA with his family.

In an interview with the podcast 2 Johnnies that took place last month, the singer of the hit 'A Team' revealed that he is leaving Suffolk with his wife Cherry Seaborn and their two daughters – five-year-old Lyra and three-year-old Jupiter.

The family lived in a £3.7 million house they call 'Shiranville', featuring a fitness room, a pool, a playhouse, and even a separate bungalow.

“I am just planning to move to America,” Ed said. “I feel like I am the only person moving to America.”

He added that he plans to stay long-term and 'is not able to get in and out of family life during the tour'.

Ed also shared photos of his cozy home on social media, showcasing a large library perfect for songwriting, as well as a comfortable living room with a telescope for stargazing.

Sheeran has kept his house in Suffolk, but reports that he has built a private bar in his home studio.

“People always look at my lifestyle and find it strange, but I think it is important to have a place where you can relax without camera worries,” Ed shared.

Sporting Changes

Ed also mentioned that he cannot attend games of his favorite club 'Ipswich Town', in which he holds shares.

He noted that he can only attend one game this season due to the move. “Last season I attended almost every game, but this season I can only attend one,” he added.

Music Plans

Sheeran previously expressed a desire to delve into country music and move to the USA. “Nashville is my favorite city in the USA, and that has always been my goal,” he noted.

Despite his move, he did not specify whether he will live in Nashville.
