Ed Sheeran Buys Million-Pound Farm: What the Singer Will Build Next to His Mansion.
According to The Sun: After completing the most successful tour, Ed Sheeran has decided to spend part of his earnings on purchasing new property in his home county of Suffolk.
The singer, known for the hit 'Azizam', bought the farm for £1 million near his main home and is actively transforming it.
Bav MediaAccording to a source, Ed, who earned £650 million during the 'Mathematics' tour, is very attentive to his finances. He decided to create another spot similar to Sheeranville near his home.
“He bought a farm, which is a class two architectural heritage site, along with the land surrounding it, and is turning it into another home. Most likely, that’s where he will host his events and work on new music,” the source says.
“The property has several barns that Ed is transforming. One of them has already become a recording studio. Next to the old pigsty, he has created a unique ‘man cave’ with a bar, gym, table football, and bowling, which he has always dreamed of.”
“Another barn is planned to be converted into a rehearsal space, and there will be an office and library on the second floor.”
“He is also carefully restoring some fields and gardens where he plans to grow vegetables. A kitchen for hosting guests is being built outside. If his first property is home for Ed, this second place will be a true paradise where he can enjoy relaxation.”
Earlier this year, the singer mentioned that his wife Cherry, the mother of their two daughters, forbade him to build a bowling alley in their home.
‘Bowling’
“I wanted to have a bowling alley in the backyard, but Cherry said, ‘no.’ She knew we didn’t need it,” he admitted.
“She doesn’t want our kids to grow up in a house like ‘Richard Rich,’ where there’s a McDonald’s in our yard.”
Now, fortunately for Ed, any plans not approved by his wife at home can easily be realized nearby.
