Expert assessed the energy system situation after enemy strikes.

Ukrainian energy workers managed to minimize the consequences of the recent enemy attacks due to weather conditions and an improved recovery system for networks and equipment. This was reported by the director of the Energy Research Center, Oleksandr Kharchenko.
The state of energy supply in Ukraine is described by the expert as stable and manageable, but still vulnerable to potential new attacks and weather disasters.
Over the past two and a half months, Ukraine has experienced five waves of attacks on its energy system, but these attacks have brought nothing to Moscow. The national electricity supply was not affected as a result. There were only some local problems related to technical failures, but in general, energy supply across the country was not restricted. Experts are working on restoring and strengthening high-voltage networks, as well as actively developing equipment protection systems and energy generation.
However, the restoration of destroyed energy facilities cannot be conducted instantly. It requires Time, labor, materials, and financial expenses. Nevertheless, energy workers are making every effort to prevent the consequences of future attacks, which, unfortunately, may still occur. Currently, efforts are underway to strengthen the resilience of the energy system and decentralize generation to make it more resilient to possible similar attacks.
