Occupants have reduced the number of assaults in the Sumy direction.
The situation in the Sumy region remains tense due to active shelling by the occupants of the border territories. Over the past day, Russian invaders have reduced their activity in the Sumy direction, but continue to use aviation to strike the region, launching guided bombs and missiles. The State Border Guard Service records the 1226th day of hostilities, during which the enemy has carried out a significant number of shellings and air strikes, including the use of kamikaze drones.
“The advance of small assault groups is being successfully resisted, and their activity has significantly decreased,” emphasized the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service.
According to military officials, the Ukrainian defense forces continue defensive operations in the Northern Slobozhansky direction, trying to push the occupants out of the border territories of the Sumy region. The President of the USA has expressed his concern regarding the situation, and Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting on security issues and the development of military technology.
