“I gave birth ten weeks ago, so I felt tired, emotional, and still in pain after the cesarean, but it was important for me to return to work.”

She added that thanks to this role, she learned to believe more in her characters:

“I used to think: 'How do you play a mother? How do you make it look believable that I love this kid?' In 'The Rumor', my imaginary son Liam was so cute.”

Emily also characterized the relationships between the actors:

“I was doing even the smallest things, like getting him ready for school, with comfort and emotions, because now it really matters, as I have my son.”

“I saw how people are skeptical about them and say: 'I don’t need one of those.'”

She emphasized the importance of support:

“Intimacy coordinators are there in case you feel uncomfortable, regardless of gender.”

Emily confessed:

“I was a victim of sexual violence at work throughout my career, whether on set or at parties.”

The actress shared her positive experience working on the Disney+ show:

“I’m very proud of the 'Superiors' team because throughout my life I haven’t always felt safe, and we all really respect each other.”
