Several European countries and the United Kingdom, which is no longer part of the EU, are introducing a fee for entry to their territory. Mostly, this concerns the Schengen area countries. Tourists will have to pay 7 euros to cross the border. This can be done online.

As a result, the tourist will receive a permit that will be valid for 3 years. It will not need to be paid for again. The fee will come into effect in 2024.
Some countries will have the right to change the fee amount. For example, entering the United Kingdom will cost more than 10 pounds. A list of countries that will introduce a certain fee for entry has already been compiled.
