The estate of the former Big Brother star was approved by the High Court just 25 days after his death on August 4.

Documents obtained by The Sun indicate that his estate amounted to £715,000, but after deductions for taxes, fees, and debts, it reduced to £517,200.

James left his children James and Peter from his first marriage £75,000 tax-free.

In the will, signed in April last year, he also expressed his wishes regarding burial.

Struggle with Illness

Whale first learned about his cancer in 2000, when he had to remove one of his kidneys.

Later, he founded the charity Kidney Cancer UK to support those diagnosed with the disease.

In 2020, James was diagnosed with stage four kidney cancer, and he openly spoke about his battle during the final stages of his life.

On his 70th birthday in 2021, he announced his engagement to Nadine Lamont-Brown.

In the same year, he also revealed that the cancer had returned, affecting his kidney, spine, brain, and lungs.
