According to The Sun: Gabriel Bortoleto's car took off into the air after a terrible crash on the last lap of the sprint race in São Paulo. The 21-year-old Brazilian driver for the Sauber team sustained multiple injuries but was taken to the medical center for examination as a precaution.
Bortoleto was trying to overtake Alex Albon but couldn't find adequate grip on the track.
“There was no grip at all, it was just a nightmare,” commented the driver.
