Finland has joined the European Union initiative and will also ban the entry of passenger cars from the Russian Federation. This information was reported by the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

All cars with Russian license plates are subject to the ban. Cars already on the territory of Finland must leave the country by March 2024.
Exceptions to the ban include diplomats' cars and vehicles belonging to humanitarian transport organizations.
Currently, the European Union ban has already been supported by Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
