Norwich City abandons stadium reconstruction due to fan protests.
Carrow Road restoration plans postponed
According to The Sun: NORWICH CITY decided to halt plans for the renovation of Carrow Road stadium due to the negative reaction from fans. Earlier this month, the club announced projects that included the creation of a new fan zone behind the Barclay Stand. Changes to the facade in the southern and regent areas of the arena were also planned.
“We have listened to our fans and take their concerns into account.”
The decision to stop the project came as a result of significant dissatisfaction among fans who expressed their opinions on various platforms. The club will now review its plans in consideration of fan opinions.
Despite significant investments planned for the stadium upgrade, the club understands the importance of its fans' voices and is trying to find optimal solutions that meet their expectations. Further steps by Norwich City will focus on dialogue with supporters to achieve a shared vision for the future of Carrow Road.
